AR Calling – Trainee

Job Summary

As a Trainee – AR Caller at Maxenra, you will be responsible for contacting US-based insurance companies to resolve outstanding medical claims. This voice-based role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contact US-based insurance carriers to follow up on unpaid or denied medical claims
  • Learn and follow standard operating procedures for claim follow-up, documentation, and escalation
  • Accurately capture call outcomes and update claim status in the RCM systems
  • Understand basic denial reasons and initiate reprocessing or resubmission where instructed
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Team Leaders for guidance
  • Maintain call quality standards by following scripts, compliance rules, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Achieve daily and weekly productivity targets for number of calls and resolution rate
  • Participate in training sessions to improve communication, system usage, and AR process knowledge
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain missing information for claim resolution
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all payer interactions

Job Requirements

  • Education: Undergraduate Degree – preferably in Arts or Science
  • Skills:
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and listening)
  • Willingness to work in US shift timings (night shift)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets
